How much does it cost? It’s $10 per camper to attend the Cub-O-Ree with a $40 maximum fee per family. So, you have one Scout, one adult, and one sibling, your total cost to go camping is $30. If you have a family of 6 or 8 and you want to bring everyone, it’s $40.

When is it? May 1-3, 2009

Where is it?
Beautiful Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson, Tennessee. We’ll be in Group Camp #1.

What do I need to do? Fill out the registration form (available from Joe Webb or Kim Wilkerson). Payments should be made to Rhiannon, our Pack Treasurer.

What if I have questions?
Contact Joe Webb (615-405-4064) or Kim Wilkerson (615-792-2511)

Who can attend? This camping extravaganza is open to all scouts in Pack 126. Each scout must have at least one adult attend with him. And you can bring your little or big brothers and sisters too! It’ll be fun for the whole family.

What do I need to bring? The registration form has a suggested gear list that provides a great start for packing for the trip. Most importantly, bring a big expectation to have lots of fun.

Where can I get the registration form? Contact Joe Webb or Kim Wilkerson at the telephone numbers listed above.

What time should I arrive there? Check-in begins at 4:30pm on Friday afternoon, May 1.

What activities will be there? The Cub-O-Ree has lots of great fun for Scouts, this spring’s edition is no exception! As a bonus, on Friday night there will be an Arrow of Light Ceremony and on Saturday night some Webelos II’s will crossover into Boy Scouts during a Crossover Ceremony. It’ll be a wonderful experience that you won’t want to miss.

Cub-O-Ree was a bit soggy this year, but the boys got to play some football and learn some ‘survival skills’, and hey, we won Best Campsite, thanks to a new friend we met there and the Webelos I’s and their terriffic Gateway!
